Evvia

Evvia of Palo Alto, along with Kokkari of San Francisco, are two restaurants that Howard J. Backen designed for his client who had the desire to create a unique restaurant experience to showcase traditional Greek cuisine. Michael Bauer of the San Francisco Chronicle awarded both Evvia and Kokkari an ambience rating of three and a half stars. Evvia was designed by Howard while he was the principal in charge at Backen, Arrigoni and Ross (BAR).
